Pineapple bliss

What is it about pineapple that announces summer is here? This amazing fruit is an absolute must in our house. It gets chopped into our salsa, grilled with our chicken, and sliced up on our pizza – that is, if we don’t just eat it all straight off the cutting board!

Swell Soda’s Pineapple captures the perfect essence of this tropical fruit. It’s light, tangy and sweet, just like a pineapple soda should be. It’s the taste of the summer sun, all year round!

Ready for this? Place one cup of white long-grain or bismati rice in a medium saucepan. Add one 12-oz bottle of Swell Soda Pineapple, 1/2 cup water, 2 tablespoons butter, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a half cup of chopped pineapple (cut small). Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes. Serve drizzled with honey. So good...
